Sometimes, it takes a shake up to wake up.

In 2020, inspired by the wake of extreme stress from the COVID-19 pandemic and a completely unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer during a routine mammogram, Sylvia began the difficult journey of taking her power back and finding ways to acknowledge the calm in the chaos everyday.

As a result, Sylvia devised an activational social media campaign, cleverly flipping the phrase "Testing Positive" (a tongue-in-cheek middle finger to the on-going global pandemic), to allow herself and those in her circle to call out and celebrate the ways in which we can find positivity in daily life. Designed just as much for her as it was for her audience, it worked, and soon turned into a series that people looked forward to gracing their feed every morning, inspiring them to find the best reasons to start each day intentionally.
