In the year 2207, Earth has become a tyrannical empire under the iron grip of Lord Ulysseus Herra, a despot who has sworn to extinguish all who oppose him. Centuries ago, a brilliant scientist named Edward Young defied the impossible-building the Rebellio Core, the universe's first intergalactic drive-and escaped to forge a new world called Terra. He founded Terra Spes, a rebellion built on hope, and his bloodline became Herra's obsession.

Now, that bloodline falls to two brothers.

Edward "E" Young and his younger brother Max have spent their lives as runners, smuggling goods across the Andromeda galaxy aboard their father's ship, the Seraphim.
