When Maggie and Matt King move to Hopeville, Virginia with their year-old daughter Bethany, they are excited to enjoy their new close-knit community. The future looks bright! Matt starts classes at Tidewater Theological Seminary, they settle into their new apartment at Student Housing, and get to know the other students. Maggie and her new friend Anika even volunteer to help with the Students Wives' kickoff Victorian Tea. The festivities take a gloomy turn when a striking young woman is found unconscious - hit in the head with a coffee carafe. Before long, Maggie finds herself a murder suspect. Determined to clear her name, Maggie must find out who would kill the beautiful, but cruel Beth Logan.
