Tame It!

In a world that celebrates unchecked emotion with pride, unfiltered speech, and unrestrained living, God still calls us to a higher standard of discipline, self-control, and surrender. We were never meant to live unguarded. Through the Holy Spirit, God has given you and me the ability to build walls of strength, not to imprison you, but to protect your purpose.

Whether you've struggled with your temper, your tongue, your thoughts, or your desires, the message remains the same: you can tame it! With God. Not by your might. Not by your willpower. But by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Jesus never promised that this journey would be easy, but He promised it would be worth it. I have learned throughout my life that it's favourable to choosing obedience over impulse. Choosing patience over wrath. Choosing grace over retaliation. Choosing silence over speaking when your words would harm.

Tame your thoughts. Tame your emotions. Tame your speech. Tame your actions. Not to earn Gods love, but because you are already deeply loved. Not to impress people, but to bring glory to the One who made you. Because a life that is tamed by the Spirit is a life that reflects the image of Christ.
