Swipe. Sip. Spawn. is a literary novel with auto-fictional intimacy, following Max, a divorced mother navigating the hall of mirrors of online dating - a landscape where connection is optimised, attention is transactional and boundaries are quietly negotiated away.

Moving through dating apps, casual encounters and long stretches of being wanted without being held, Max begins to recognise the patterns beneath modern intimacy: how desire is deferred, sexualised, or withdrawn; how often women are asked to manage men's expectations while minimising their own. The men change. The scripts don't.

When a controlling former partner reappears and refuses to stay in the past, the stakes sharpen. Max is forced to confront the difference between discomfort and danger - and to act decisively when attention turns coercive.
