Sugar, Anna and the secret balcony

A quiet story where spring, curiosity, and magic meet on a small city balcony.
In Sugar, Anna and the secret balcony, a simple moment - opening the balcony for the first time after winter - turns into a gentle and enchanting discovery. Seven-year-old Eliza and her two rabbits, Sugar and Anna, are not just explorers of flowerpots and patches of sun. They're explorers of wonder.
What begins with a dig in a pot and a bag of spilled soil becomes something much more mysterious: the discovery of a tiny door, hidden behind a cabinet, with a sign that reads "Do Not Disturb. Sleep During the Day." Is it a gnome house? Eliza isn't sure. But when cookie crumbs disappear and tiny gifts appear in return, she begins to believe. And so do we.
Told with warmth and subtle humor, this story is about noticing quiet magic, respecting the unknown, and cherishing small rituals. Eliza's relationship with her rabbits - trusting, loving, wordless - adds depth and softness to every scene. And her choice to tell no one (except Sugar and Anna) feels just right: some magic is meant to stay between friends.
A gentle, whimsical tale for thoughtful readers who believe the smallest doors can lead to the biggest wonders.
