Stronger Together:
Teen Stress Management Workshop
This 6-week workshop is designed to help teenagers ages 14-18 learn practical tools for managing stress during times of crisis, depression, and everyday struggles. This workshop also helps with correcting teens' behavior. The goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where teens can open up, build self-awareness, and strengthen their resilience with the guidance of teachers or facilitators.
Each week introduces new skills through interactive worksheets, role-play, and peer support activities. Teens learn how to identify their stress signals, map personal triggers, practice healthy coping strategies, and support each other as accountability partners.
Core Objectives for the Worksheets and Activities:
- Awareness - Recognize body, emotional, and thought signs of stress.
- Safe Coping - Create personal stress plans and coping toolboxes.
- Peer Support - Build accountability partnerships and encourage one another.
- Communication Skills - Practice asking for help and using active listening.
- Positive Reinforcement - Learn the difference between encouragement and advice.
- Resilience Planning - Develop crisis action plans and vision boards for long-term growth.
Teacher's Role:Teachers act as
facilitators and guides-not therapists. They create a welcoming environment, introduce each week's worksheets and activities, and encourage respectful peer interaction. Teachers should emphasize confidentiality, active listening, and the value of teamwork.
Expected Outcomes:By the end of the program, teens will:
- Understand their personal stress signals and triggers.
- Have a set of coping strategies they can use daily.
- Strengthening communication and listening skills.
- Build stronger peer support systems.
- Create a personal crisis plan and vision for resilience.
This workshop is not meant to replace professional counseling but rather to
empower teens with skills, confidence, and peer accountability better to navigate stress and challenges in their daily lives.
