Being a single mom during the holidays was hard. 

Trying to keep her safe while running from an obsessed stalker was even harder.

But ending up stranded in a blizzard with my brother's FORMER best friend was damn near impossible.

Add in that Gage didn't just age well-he aged like a character in a steamy romance novel with sculpted muscles and chiseled good looks. Not only was he downright gorgeous, but he was also just as protective and caring as he had been when we were younger. 

The problem was that I never meant for him to get involved in my situation. He wasn't supposed to be there when I showed up at his grandmother's inn. It was supposed to be vacant so I could take a few days to gather myself and figure out my next step. 

But one thing about Gage was that when he had his mind set on something, he didn't stop. Only, his focus was now on protecting me and my daughter, no matter the cost.

With hidden tracking devices and unnerving calls, we quickly found that my stalker would stop at nothing until he had what he wanted: me. 

One wrong move could prove disastrous as I struggled to keep us safe while trying NOT to fall in love with the one man I wasn't supposed to be with.
