Daisy walked us six days east through hill country to a ruined village she lived in three lifetimes ago. Thornfeld. A dry stone well, a transfer circle she carved by candlelight before a plague emptied the place, and a Shadow Plane on the other side of it. Perpetual gloaming. Trees of silver bark and dark leaves.
