"How is your walk with God?"

Have you ever been asked this question? It comes in many forms including, "How's your prayer life?" and "How's your faith life?"

Have you avoided the question, maybe even walking away if you heard someone asking that type of question to others. Or, when asked, do you usually respond with something non-comital, like "It's okay", even adding a "thanks", because, as a good Christian, we're supposed to be thankful for questions like that. Aren't we?

Christianity is simple. It was never meant to be difficult (unlike life on this earth). Jesus' disciples were neither theologians nor priests, they were ordinary people, just like us.

Too often we are given a version of Christianity which makes us stressed and unhappy. But Jesus never intended us to be stressed by trying to 'be good enough' for God and others, or by trying to 'following all the rules', or even by 'being a member of the right denomination'.

None of these things will give us the love, joy and peace God wants us to have. Instead, God desires relationship with us.

He wants us to understand Christianity is simple. To understand how we can live this simple life, we need to know how God sees us, how we respond, how He works and how we work for Him.
