Because of MDRS of bacteria, current therapeutic methods of serious burning, wounds, ulcers and cancer are becoming less and less effective. Therefore, novel biocides having capabilities of killing the microorganisms or to stop their growth are needed. In thepresent work, more effort has been made to synthesize silver based biocides and to determine their anticancer and antimicrobial activities against multi-drug-resistant strains of bacteria (MDRS).
