She Feelin' Herself

After barely escaping an abusive relationship that almost got her sent to the upper room, Nia moves back to her hometown to rebuild her life. Nia's cousin, Chavonne, introduces her to the fabulous salon owner, Towanda, who takes a personal interest in the shy Nia. Towanda takes the woman under her wings and grooms her into a force to be reckoned with, introducing her to a host of people, places, and things. Nia starts to see life under a new lens and sets her sights on the impossible.

While Nia's life is rocketing to new levels, Chavonne's life is spiraling down the drain, and the two cousins find themselves on opposite sides of the fence. The division between the two becomes more intense when Towanda goes away on an extended family trip and entrusts Nia with the duties of her thriving salons.

With new responsibilities and a new outlook on life, Nia is faced with temptations and opportunities that are hard to resist as she battles with making the right decisions or allowing her conscience to fall by the wayside in order to get what she wants.
