At the heart of human existence lies a paradox! We were born of love, yet immediately we cried, we gasped and we separated. That was the first great parting-moment, leaving the womb, leaving the mother and entering the world as a unique being. In that moment we experienced both arrival and separation. That separation is more than just a physical event, it is an existential rupture, a wound of separation from our origin of love and God

This book, Separation: The Return, reveals that this primal separation opens a trajectory of separation from the mother, from the father, from the source of love and ultimately the separation from God. Yet embedded within this trajectory is the possibility of return. Remembering our innate belonging, rediscovering our original love, dismantling protective defences, and returning home to the Creator, to love and to wholeness.

We will trace how the wound of separation gives rise to core beliefs, how these beliefs shape our thoughts, emotions, actions and life-decisions. How the survival brain and the identity built around it become a fortress and a prison. And, finally how the journey of return invites a dismantling of defences, an excavation of our core wounds and a remembering of love to reconnect with our true identity.

As the final light fades, Adam realises that Love and identity cannot coexist. Where Love exists fully, the "I" disappears. That disappearance, feared for so long, reveals itself as peace. It is not the death of life, but the death of separation.
