Senior Prank

Graduation was supposed to be the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Instead, it became a felony.

On the last night of high school, five teenagers pull what they believe is the ultimate senior prank: kidnapping their exhausted AP Government teacher and taking him on a surprise trip to a graduation party. The plan is simple-borrow Mr. Wheeler for one night, make a legendary memory, bring him back before anyone notices.

Then they cross state lines.

Now trapped together in a barely functioning 1984 Winnebago that smells like regret and expired beef jerky, the group heads west with:

• one increasingly unstable teacher,
• a stolen bucket-list notebook,
• several terrible ideas,
• and absolutely no plan.

As the miles pile up, so do the disasters:

roadside attractions, national parks, UFO hunters, crashed weddings, Waffle House crimes, existential campfires, and one very unfortunate encounter with the police.

But somewhere between the Grand Canyon and the Pacific Ocean, the prank stops feeling like a prank.

Because the truth is: none of them are ready to grow up.

And Mr. Wheeler may need this road trip even more than they do.
