Security is a critical factor in fostering the development of applications that fully leverage the benefits of mobile agent technology. Numerous studies have been conducted to address mobile agent security issues, with a focus on the theoretical aspects of the problem. The objective of this work is to bridge the gap between theory and practice by designing a security infrastructure that enables the control of operations related to mobile agents on the host, and more specifically on a Jade Framework. The proposed security infrastructure is applied to secure a mobile agent-based medical tele-expertise system. Medical tele-expertise can be defined as the use of telematic services between professionals and experts in the medical field to assist with diagnosis, treatment, or other types of healthcare services. Tele-expertise promotes collaborative work and allows, for example, a remote physician to refine their diagnosis of a patient by seeking the external opinion of one or more experts in the field.
