Book 5 - Whose Idea Is It?
It's eleven o'clock on Wednesday night, and Lily is staring at a blank page. Her story is due tomorrow. Scout could write something in thirty seconds. Tammy's already drawing, but she asked Scout for ideas, not images. Tom kept his story but used Scout to fix the spelling, and added a tiny note at the bottom: "Scout helped me with the words."

This final, longest, and most thoughtful book in the series leads children gently through the moral territory their parents are still figuring out. When Scout gives you an idea and you make it your own, that's collaboration. When Scout writes the words and you copy them as yours, that's something else. The book never lectures. It shows: a moment with the judges, a hand reaching toward a ribbon, a girl named Lily learning that she can stand in front of a blank page tomorrow and trust that the words will come, because last time she wrote them.

The series closes with a pledge children can carry into a future no adult fully understands yet: be honest about how you made it. Use AI. Tell people. The work belongs to the human who chose, decided, and stood behind it.
