I've been described as a serial killer, an assassin, and a psycho bitch, among other things. But one word wraps up my entire world in a nice little bow. Vengeance. Men have taken too much from me, and since I can't get what I lost back, I'll take what I'm owed in my own special ways. There's one thing they haven't taken from me yet--Lucy. Her dimpled, round face and golden curls hold threadbare string that grounds me in reality. But sunshine like can't be kept in a bottle and our lives aren't meant snap together like puzzle pieces...or a senator's neck. I've ended anyone who's tried to take what's mine, because even if I can't have her, they don't deserve her.
