'Sarah' is a book about the life and times of the principal wife of Abraham. It describes her indispensable role in laying the foundations for belief in the One true God. Christian Commentary usually focuses on Abraham, as the Great Father of Faith and presents Sarah as someone in his shadow. Like Abraham and all the Biblical heroes, she had feet of clay, but she held on and became the mother of the lineage that would lead to the Messiah
