Runic Voyage

After years of teaching the northern mysteries and secrets (Runes), I found that no matter how I delivered the information that has become common place among the heathens of today it felt like forced school work. Which in itself is not cohesive to the flow and the harmony of the runic streams. Resting, playing music in my room, I underwent a memory flash of one of my father's brothers Dago, talking to me about the Runes when we were in Oakdale, Iowa. Now, I do not remember the exact words that he said to me.... instead what I remember is the meaning of the idea of what he said. Its nature was something like this; "If you want to know the runes of our ancestors, and truly understand the meanings of them then you must first comprehend them on the most basic of levels. They are vibrations radiating throughout the multiverse. The staves we know are their written representations. The words we speak that are their names, were given to deliver all the meaning that you will ever need. Everything else you ever read is someone else's understanding of these graphic ideas. If you want to know the runes, then you must form your own understanding and relationship with the runic essences themselves." From this I have taken the time to learn the meaning of every word. Thought about how it applies to life in the deepest of fashions. And still after three quarters of a lifetime of studying them, when I undergo these focused contemplations I find that I learn more.
Runic Voyage is a book for developing personal discipline and relationships with the essence of the runes. Like anything you wish to build a relationship with, when you undergo the runic voyage it takes time. Time and devotion. The key to this experience is in its simplicity. Wherein you will learn more about yourself and the world around you through subjective observation and come to new and greater realizations that may affect every part of your life.
