Rowdy Jackson

Rowdy Jackson: US Marshal grows up on a Texas ranch with little more than a horse, a rifle, and the lessons his father taught him about keeping his word. But the hard country of the 1860s has a way of changing a man. Before long, Rowdy finds himself riding among outlaws, crossing paths with killers and gunfighters, and learning firsthand what life looks like when the law is nowhere in sight. From the rough towns of West Texas and Arizona to the saloons and streets of Tombstone, Rowdy's trail eventually leads him toward a badge and a different kind of responsibility. Along the way, he encounters some of the legendary names of the Old West, while making enemies-and friends-of his own. But wearing a badge does not erase the man who came before it.

Through gunfights, pursuit, loss, loyalty, and hard choices, Rowdy Jackson must decide what kind of man he wants to be-and whether there can still be a place for him beyond the violence of the frontier. Set against the changing American West of the 1860s through the 1880s, Rowdy Jackson: US Marshal is a collection of connected Western tales about a gunslinger, lawman, and wanderer trying to find his way home.
