But when the other three came out, well, then it was war. He remembered fighting harder than he had done in a long time. Constantly on alert. Watching everywhere at once. His sword and shield ever at the ready. And he had won, for the obvious reason that he was still alive.
And although he pondered many times changing his moniker, after each battle it accurately described the outcome - he was indeed Robert the Bruised.
