Gregg's plan to save Denny's life entails a jailbreak that employs all the elements of his usual heisting prowess. Proving who's really guilty of treason will then require a confidence scheme that will, hopefully, out the real bad guy. But even if he frees Denny and proves another's guilt, the DOJ considers Gregg to have obliterated his work release sentence with the SIRU the moment he disabled his tracking watch. With four years tacked on for his escape, Gregg's facing seven years behind real iron bars. Alternatively, dodging arrest and running back to his life as a thief will require a decision from his wife, one he would loathe asking her to make.
