REFLECTIONS IN BLUE

This book provides a personal and honest look into the everyday life of police officers and the constant vigilance required to keep society safe. It explores how a thin layer of civility is maintained by a small group of individuals willing to face danger directly, often at great personal cost. Through true stories shaped by personal experience and emotion, the author shares the risks, mindset, and realities of life in uniform. The goal is to offer insight, understanding, and an engaging read that leaves the reader with something meaningful to reflect on. There were many close calls over the years, and in this book I recount several adventures drawn from my encounters with dangerous sea life and the crushing pressures of the deep. I dove for sunken treasures and found them. Organized crime figures I confronted led to predictable conclusions with bad men with guns and muscle. Drug dealers of all types from grandma to psychotic killers came across my path. My stories deal with all different factions of society. Some were hard core criminals and others were the naive portion of civilized society, blissfully unaware of the potential dangers that surrounded them. The plan for this book is to teach people about real life and to think about the environment that they live in.
