Red Flags

To the young woman in whom God has poured so much beauty, so much joy, so much laughter, though these things
drift from time to time. To the grown woman who laid herself open to love and to be loved.

To the lady who gives her all to everyone who is anyone to her and even those who have become nothing at all to her.
I am writing so that she will know that she is not forgotten by God. I am writing that she will know that He hears her
prayers and captures the tears she cries when she is lying alone at night in her bed, wishing to be held by her husband, even though she is not married yet. I am writing to encourage her to live righteously. I am writing to encourage her to serve God with her gifts and talents, and they are many. I am writing to tell her again that God has
a plan for her right now, in her singleness, though she may have heard it just yesterday. I am writing in hopes that she, too, will work while she is waiting.

I am writing to tell her that what she longs for in a man, she has in God. I am writing in hopes that she will trust Him
as He moves in situations and in circumstances around her. I am writing to inform her that though she cannot see Him, He
sees her. I am writing to tell her that He is her provider, her protector, her High Priest, her confidant, her best friend and the
lover of her soul. I am hoping that she will come to know that no man will ever love her the way He does, the way He has, the way He will.

I am writing to the young lady, the grown woman to let her know that in His Word there is safety and protection
from situations and circumstances that we are led to and fight through when chasing the need to be loved or the desire to be in love.
I am writing this exhortation so that she will take time with God, draw closer to Him; consider His Word, find strength and
take comfort in them. I am sending red flags to the unmarried woman so that she will avoid some of the pit falls I fell into and confidently walk along this path God has set before her, on her way to the next destination in her life.
