Whenever Granny speaks about angels, she always describes them as beacons of grace and miracles. She never once mentioned their capacity for rage or violence.

As a Nephilim, Theia only ever wants to be like everyone else. After two and a half decades of striving to fit in, she's helpless to do anything but watch as Heaven's wrath pounds that dream to dust.

When her path leads her to Aric, she not only finds a mentor but a love she's only ever read about. In his embrace, she finds safety and acceptance that erases the empty voids inside her. With his love, Theia realizes Aric is the only one who can bring light to the shadows within her soul.
