In them Cade vanquishes dragons, befriends orcs, rips off lordlings, tarries with elves, and confronts evils in unknown lands, for which there are no proper names...

Whether the tales enclosed are true, or merely the distortions of an eccentric Ranger's wayward mind, only the gods can say.

But either way, they make for fine reading.
