Queen of Dragon Souls

Ryu is quite possibly the last of her specific elven race of Dragon Tamers. She was born into the royal family she needed to be hidden from and kept in the shadows of truth her entire life. Protected and exploited for the talents she possesses; twisted realities and fabricated tales guided her in her development and beliefs. Her odd complexion in a kingdom of her kin keeps her on the radar of the King and in the hateful hearts of her adversaries. As the daughter of a General, she was raised to follow in his footsteps until her own missteps lead her to a humiliating heartbreak that she'll never live down.

With nothing left to lose, she sets out on an adventure to take her place as Queen of the Dragon Souls, a title inherited that only she can hold. Tatsuya faithfully accompanies Ryu as they take to the skies on an adventure that seems to always have surprises. With her dragons on the verge of extinction and no idea of how many, if any, of her race still resides in their spell bound land, Ryu is tasked with figuring life out while healing herself, take back her land, navigating politics, fighting those that wish to extinguish her race and learning that some fates will never change no matter how hard you try.
