Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Fish

Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Fish is a meaningful Islamic children's book that introduces young readers to the story of Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him), his journey at sea, his time inside the whale, and the powerful lesson of turning back to Allah.

Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) was sent by Allah to guide his people and call them toward the right path. But after speaking to them for a long time and seeing that they would not listen, he became deeply upset and left.

Soon after, Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) boarded a ship. While it was sailing across the sea, a violent storm arose. The waves grew huge, the ship became dangerously unstable, and the people on board feared that it would break apart. After lots were cast, Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) was chosen and entered the sea.

By Allah's command, a great whale swallowed him. Surrounded by darkness, Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) realized his mistake and turned sincerely to Allah in prayer. He asked for forgiveness, and Allah heard him.

The whale eventually carried Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) safely to shore. There, Allah provided him with shade and nourishment beneath a Yaqtin plant. After recovering, Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) returned to his people and continued delivering Allah's message. This time, many people listened and believed.

Written in simple, child-friendly language, Prophet Younus (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Fish introduces children to an important Qur'anic account while teaching lessons about patience, repentance, obedience, prayer, and trusting Allah.

A powerful story for Muslim families, Islamic schools, Qur'an learning, and faith-based reading.
