If the preacher can endure the pain the preacher will be endued with power. Experience will eventually teach a faithful preacher that pain is just part of the process. Even our precious Lord and Master was not exempt from the pain of preaching. Even Jesus endured the pain of persecution, temptation, hunger and thirst. He endured the pain of desertion, denial, and betrayal. Yet he experienced authority, power, miracles, signs and wonders, and resurrection glory. Yes, there is pain in preaching this gospel but there is an abounding grace provided by God to endure it.
