Planning on Christmas

Charity Evans has a list for everything.

It was her secret for manning a childhood lemonade stand so lucrative it ended up on the news; it's how she excelled in college even as she started an event planning company, and the reason she was named one of the top planners in the country before she turned 30. List it out, check it off, repeat. If it didn't make a list, it wasn't worth doing. At least... that's what she always thought.

But when Charity finds herself snowed in in a small New England town the week before Christmas-unexpectedly single and with no way to reach the venue for her company's biggest event of the year-she starts to wonder if all that list-making is paying off. Auburn Falls' charismatic councilman Kyle certainly doesn't think so, but Charity hasn't trusted a man's opinion since her father died, and she wasn't about to start now... was she?

With nowhere to go and the upcoming event in the capable hands of her loyal assistant, Charity discovers she has, for the first time in forever, nothing to work on. So when Kyle suggests she switch her usual to-dos with a Christmas-themed list he compiled instead, she does something that would shock everyone who knows her, including her newly-minted ex: she says "yes."
