Two friends. Ten trips. Their last chance to fall in love...
Two friends, Poppy and Alex, embark on a tumultuous journey of friendship and love through a series of ten vacations that span over a decade. Their story begins twelve years ago when they first meet, harboring mutual disdain. As college students, a chance car ride home sparks an unexpected friendship alongside a pact: to vacation together every year.
Throughout the years, they confront various challenges, including Alex's fear of flying during a trip to Vancouver where Poppy offers comfort. Their escapades take them to New Orleans, where a night of drunkenness almost leads to matching tattoos. However, the last trip two years ago marks a turning point, leaving their friendship hanging in the balance.
In the current year, Poppy extends an invitation to Alex for one final adventure, a trip that may redefine their relationship and determine the course of their lives. This narrative unfolds as a contemporary love story, inviting readers to experience laughter, heartwarming moments, and the complexities of friendship and romance. Aimed at fans of romantic classics like "When Harry Met Sally" and "One Day," the story explores the theme of second chances intertwined with humor and genuine connection.
