I am compelled to write situational biblical insights that are meant to inspire, challenge, provoke and transform our thinking as it relates to kingdom life. I assert that a believer's way of thinking can determine their effectiveness. In general, kingdom life requires a Christ-like response to daily life events. The way a person responds is indicative of their level of confidence in God's work in the world. In every facet of life, be it family, work or catastrophic life events, Christians are called to consider the necessity of God's Word, prayer, and essentially the fellowship all share in Christ as opportunities for meaningful reflection, action and potential breakthrough.
These shorts are my personal reflections which I shared daily on social media as a circular called Mindset Over Matters (MOM) delivered on FaceBook under the alias DocSoul. Readers have shared with me on numerous occasions their appreciation for the necessity of the conversations. My hope is that this first volume will continue to assist in transforming your thinking about the practicality of God's Holy Word for the modern believer. I pray that you will enjoy the conversations and benefit from them, as well as pass them on to family and friends alike.
