"Path to Manhood" is a novel that encapsulates the essence of friendship, growth, and the complex journey of becoming a man. The story follows the life of Jairus and his best friends Ducron, Mike, and Ovaughn, four young black men whose paths intertwine during their transformative years at an HBCU in Atlanta at the turn of the century.

Jairus and his best friends, Ducron, Mike, and Ovaughn, although diverse in their aspirations and backgrounds, embark on their journey to manhood united by the bonds they build in college trying to make a life for themselves. Over the course of four years, they navigate life's challenges, triumphs, and setbacks, all while pursuing individual destinies that lead them in divergent directions.

Set against the backdrop of a bustling HBCU campus, "Path to Manhood" explores how these young men navigate the walk into adulthood and the dynamic relationships that shape their decisions.
