Pajarito's Journey is a book meant for the whole family to enjoy. Written and developed by a practicing Licensed Social Worker, the purpose of this book is to provide guardians with easy-to-follow parenting interventions, which can be adapted for children and youth of all ages. View this book as an interactive journey, meant to be read within a dyadic relationship of child and guardian.

Pajarito's Journey is the story of a little bird's struggles through difficult behaviors and emotions. The story begins with Pajarito waking up in a strange place and meeting Mister Owl. Together they learn ways to make future experiences easier for the mind and body.

Roberto Salinas created the vision of a self-help book for the entire family to enjoy. Roberto has over 25 years of experience as a social worker and a decade working within the child welfare system. Roberto has witnessed many of the displaced youth within the foster care system being moved from resource homes. These removals were often due to trauma-related behaviors or difficult to manage emotions. Roberto always envisioned creating a trauma informed training geared towards any guardian caring for children. It is the intent that this book will prepare families to effectively manage behaviors and overwhelming emotions.
