"Catch those damned brothers!" bellowed the mayor. Chief Aquino assigned Chief Detective Alberto Cargile to chase the robbers. This took him through the Ghost Ranch mountains, a no man's land receiving squat help from the locals.
Alberto stalked the vile brothers through the wintery barren land surrounded by looming painted mountains making this case full of menace and uncertainty. Their tracks led to Trissa where the brothers commandeered Maggie May's B&B as their hide-out.
The town's 100-year snow storm diminished Detective Cargile's options. How does Alberto square Trissa's and his neighbor's safety against the cunning robbers? With the deep snow and no exit for the narcissistic brothers the standoff menacingly turns into a showdown with guns a blazing. Alberto senses it has become his death sentence. Who's blood will spill?
