Obedience

This book is a short testimony of my beginning walk with Jesus, and His word. I was 32 years old, when He began to show me what disciplines I needed to cultivate. My season of obedience to the LORD began in 2008. At that time, I was desperately searching for something more than my everyday mediocre life of working and motherhood.

I was raised up in church, from childhood, until age 12. My father was a preacher, and he was the one who introduced me to the life of the Cross of Jesus Christ. Yet the area where I lacked knowing Jesus Christ personally was that I didn't have an intimate relationship with the LORD. And so, I had a spirit of religion, not relationship.

The LORD knew that I needed to be born again, by His SPIRIT. But I didn't get this memo, until my life began to unravel in desperate times. I had encountered a few near-death experiences, and it shook me to the core. Manic depression seemed to haunt me like I needed oxygen-continuously!
But these things baffled me so much, that I begin to perceive the LIVING CHRIST was drawing me near, through these adversities!
