Normative Erinnerung

Die Rede vom biblischen Kanon verschafft nur auf einen ersten Blick Gewissheiten. Die Vielfalt der biblischen Texte öffnet Sinnwelten, die nicht einfach miteinander zu vereinbaren sind. Der Gottesglaube prägt beide Testamente, er findet im Christusglauben eine besondere Gestalt. Es werden für den Glauben bedeutsame Geschichten erzählt. Erinnerung und Normativität verbinden sich in der Interpretation dieser Texte. Das historische Bewusstsein nimmt die mit einem Kanon verbundene Spannung wahr. Wie in einer pluralen Welt sinnvoll von einem Kanon geredet werden kann, wurde auf der 15. The diversity of the biblical text opens up realms of meaning, which are not simply to be cooperated with each other. The faith in God shapes both testaments, in the faith in Christ it finds its special shape. Stories significant for the faith are being told. Remembrance and normativity coalesce in the interpretation of these texts. The historical awareness recognizes the tension linked up with a canon. How one can reasonably speak of a canon in a plural world, was discussed from different perspectives at the 15th annual conference of the Rudolf-Bultmann-Gesellschaft.
