Two powerful federations fight over the remaining resources on Earth when a new messiah appears from the wastelands, speaking with the voice of Gaia, goddess of life.

19-year-old Axel Cain was born in Isoland - a vast expanse of darkness, desert, storms and suffering, created for research by biotech industries and ruled by oligarch Maxim Vorn. Following the destruction of his village and imprisonment, Axel falls for Maxim's daughter Heidi. Destined to rule Isoland, Heidi hates her father and seeks a new life in London, working for a radical media company opposed to Isoland, but she yearns for Axel and the media company is not all it seems...

After years of torment, the messiah escapes and obeys the voice of Gaia, heading for London. His magical gift soon amasses a following around the world. Sinister forces want to silence the new messiah but Heidi is determined to help him speak, whatever the cost.

The breath-taking climax is set in the burning Amazon, where the new messiah must choose between saving the planet and the woman he loves.
