MY FIRST SPROUTS

Every creator has their own source of inspiration. My first steps into the world of poetry and the ignition of the tiny sparks in my heart are directly linked to the memories of my beloved grandmother - Zevarjon Aya. Her soul and her speech were woven from poetry. She would often recite verses about folk traditions and her complex yet exemplary past. Due to her elder age, she would ask me to ink the verses that poured from her heart. Enchanted by this magical process, I began to feel the true power of words. Thus, as a little girl of only 7 or 8, I took a pen in my hand. This collection includes my very first exercises up to the poems I write today. My first poem, "Seasons", written in 2014 when I was eight, remains etched in my memory. Naturally, these lines written in childhood might be artistically weak and the rhymes "fragile." However, following the wisdom, "Do not abandon the old when you find the new," I decided to include them with all their imperfections. For these poems are the path of my maturity, the growth stages of my soul, and the reflection of my innocent childhood. I hope that as you turn the pages, you will feel how this creative flow was shaped.
