Midnight Thoughts

This is my debut poetry book (I can't believe I'm saying those words). I've loved writing for 10 years and I've always done it for fun, with no intention of ever showing publicly my poems. My dream has always been to publish a book, though, and I recently realized my poems could be one- because they also tell a story.
What makes this book interesting and unique from the others is that it's divided by two. The first side is called "The Night", which are poems more depressive and sad. The second side is called "The Light", which are poems that are more happy and positive.
You can also see my evolution as a writer throughout the book, as I decided to keep some older poems written 10 years ago- they're a little cringe, but still dear to me. Don't worry, they get better as you read.
The poems explore a variety of subjects: depression, anxiety, loneliness, friendships, the future, the past, love (as someone who's never been in a relationship), family, hopes, dreams, and more.
I hope you decide to go through this journey with me and can find some words you can relate to.
