Metamorphosis

Life is like an assorted palette of paint given to us with our first breath. The red of passion, the yearning in green, the blue in blues, and the yellows for the new beginnings. Poetry is the portraiture that you create with them.
Of all the shades that could have illustrated my canvas, I chose the portrait of metamorphosis. It resonates with dissonance in our minds. The dichotomy of affinity and aversions.
When Buddha said, "pain is certain, suffering is optional." It coheres to the fall from grace of Adam and Eve when they opt to bite on this apple of suffering at the lure of the mind. Gita confirms that we are the light of Krishna consciousness. And just like the spotlight, this consciousness highlights the colorful show of life unfolding on the stage.
Metamorphosis is a journey of self-discovery. To transcend this internal struggle and come to peace with what has been and with what will come next. To learn to live in the present, for what is here and now.
