Trade fairs play an important role in the marketing mix. The demands placed on this instrument are very high, as it has to bridge the gap between information and entertainment platform, in which face-to-face communication is integrated. In addition, marketing managers have a growing need to make the efficiency of the resources used more transparent. On the provider side, two professional groups are vying for the favor of clients in Austria: the academic architect and the advertising architect. This leads to differences in competence and price, and the principle of rapidly comparable framework conditions in the awarding process for trade fair appearances is thus seriously undermined. This book provides well-founded answers to these complex questions - with the aim of presenting the tension between cost efficiency and individuality in the area of awarding advertising architecture in a comprehensible way, as there are many checklists on the market.
