MATURED MINDS

A repentant unfaithful wife deserves a second chance. Two wealthy families seek to merge their conglomerates by a marital union of their children in order to secure a future void of rivalry amongst them. They take a vow of chastity till their final wedding ceremony and everything seems to go well until they start getting matured.
The problem is, as they grow older, Jane starts having doubts about the relationship and the things she desires as a young woman. Her fiancé Jones on his part is very dedicated to the relationship and to every objective dictated to him by his parents. He is deeply in love with her and has stood by her ever since she was a little baby. To him, loving her and meeting the expectations of his parents was his sole reason for existence. To Jane, he has been groomed to become a robot and a cannot make a decision for himself let alone be a bit romantic. She wishes for someone more desirable.
Jones is supposed to leave the country. It is going to be a long stay and he will be away for two years. He decides to spend the few days left around with his fiancé. One evening, they get a bit more comfortable than expected and Jones goes out of control attempting to make love to her. This gets her crossed and she requests he leaves. She is so angry and disappointed in him that she goes as far as blocking his number from his phone and lets him wonder about alone at a very unfaithful hour where he gets himself drunk and in the wrong company. He believes it might just be an isolated incident and she. He finally leaves the country with every one present to bid him farewell except Jane. Her mother already suspected the relationship is not working and wished the family had had them united before they got older.
A month to the wedding, Jane has it postponed without seeking the concern of Jones. Upon realizing this, the unconditional love he has for her is now transformed into bitterness. Jane's father had invested all his hopes on him and knows if the wedding does not go through, that would not only be the end of their planned business union but his family business legacy. It was certain Jones who knew all about the companies would become its greatest enemy. In a desperate move to secure the deal, he made Jones' father an offer he could not refuse knowing very well his father was very proud of the man his son had become and had found the excuse to become a business rival.
This new offer forced Jane back to find her way back to Jones but to her greatest surprise, she came back to a psychopath whose love had been blinded by vengeance. She did her best to regain his trust to no avail only to find out her new personal assistant was his mistress and they were deeply in love. Confronting them, she realized Jones already knew all her dirty secrets and had already outlined a merciless plan against her and her lover. She braced herself for the worst accepting untold emotional trauma from him yet hoping someday he would heal and to love her as before. Realizing no amount of tears in the world could change him, she allowed him to do his worst, which she later used against him to his greatest surprise. Two wrongs could make a right too but this was only possible with the intervention of her mothers whom she had fully confessed to. She finally succeeded to join the broken pieces of her marriage though it had already left irreparable scars. Scars she found a way to use to her future advantage.
