Marmalade

Cornelius Cobb, a slightly bored young teenager, has his life changed dramatically when his parents separate without warning. Then he happens to meet Count de Seville through his mum's laptop, and becomes involved in the Count's tragic life story. He is persuaded to help the Count in his endeavour to gain his rightful inheritance. For that to happen, he needs to travel to Mildura where the Count had previously sought sanctuary. Cornelius, and his best friend, who is also his cousin, talk the mother into travelling to Mildura for a holiday without revealing the full story.

After arrival in the small town, the mother has come to know more, and why even further information is needed. The truth may be hidden at an Orange Orchard, but they need to be sneaky when visiting, without revealing themselves. They find out a few important details from a fraudster who lives there openly after claiming the inheritance.

The story is riddled with hurdles and dangers. Sometimes mixed with humour. To find out more, and how everything ends, you may have to read the book.
