As a local guide, Evan values competence, quiet, and people who pay attention to what is actually in front of them. The last thing he needs is a relentlessly cheerful influencer turning survival training into a personal brand exercise.

But when a map-reading challenge goes muddy, sideways, and genuinely off course, Luca is forced to stop performing long enough to be present. Evan is forced to admit that being seen by the right person might not feel like exposure after all.
