For months, college student Ellery Faidman had been plagued by dreams that were like a gateway to another world. Every morning she awoke to realize that the world she visited was becoming as real as anything else around her. The dreams followed her throughout the day, and thoughts of them never seemed to end. Especially thoughts of the one person she sought out most as she walked those mystical dreamlands, the man who stirred something inside her and brought chaos to her ordered life. She would often wake to find that there was no longer peace, even in dreaming.

When her foothold on reality magically loosens, she ends up in that world of dreams. And he is there. The man who had inhabited so many dreams. She felt as tethered to him as she had the dreams themselves. But is that all that is tethering her to that world, or is it something more?

Although her life as she knew it had been completely and irrevocably changed from the moment she woke up in that strange dreamworld, a part of her never felt more at home, more real. Yet, her path may lead her to an end that isn't the happily ever after that is so often sought after, even if it is more real than anything ever before.
