Lord, Bless Me & My Kids!: Volume 2

Lord, Bless Me & My Kids! was created for today's busy parents. Whether you are new to the Christian faith or grew up in the church, the content is accessible and personal in the way it allows you to consider your relationship with God. The five devotionals in this series have tips, prayers, and spaces for parents to reflect on their own experiences. They also include brief Bible stories, verses, poems, and anecdotes that parents may discuss with their children. These books complement the Christian Life Skills, Inc. curriculum found in the Warriors for Jesus series and My Eyes' Journey series.
Barbara W. Rogers, PhD, EdS, is a mother and grandmother who has served in various ministries since age twelve. In addition to many years of ministry within congregations, she wrote Sunday school lessons for Urban Ministries, Inc. of Chicago during ten years as a stay-at-home mom. And later, she wrote God Rescues His People and God's Chosen King, activity books for the Herald Press Story Bible Series. As Founder and Director of Christian Life Skills, Inc., her passion is providing resources that encourage children, youth, and families to develop lives pleasing to God in our challenging world. Barbara lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, Dr. John A. Rogers. They have two children and four grandchildren. Christian Life Skills, Inc. was founded in 1988, after two years of a prayer and discernment process, to provide life skills based in scripture that will help children, youth, and families live into their God given potential, consistent with His Word.
