About the Author

Shawn Jenkins, born and raised in East Oakland, California, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Athletic Trainer with a Masters degree in Kinesiology, plus ACE certification as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. He has a strong passion for empowering people to live productively through incorporating exercise and proper nutrition. "Quick fixes or gimmick diets are not productive long-term," he explains. Shawn believes in equipping yourself with verified scientific information from credible sources, staying on course with this lifestyle and living as healthy as possible.
