Cleo, Lily and Oliver go on a journey through the labyrinth to gather elderberries for a pie. Along the way, they experience many body sensations-Cleo gets stuck in mud and eats too many berries, Lily sneezes from flowers, and the group feels nervous as a storm rolls in. They find shelter with Tree, who helps them understand that body clues are signs we can listen to. By paying attention and helping each other, the friends stay safe, calm, and ready to enjoy their adventure.
In this lesson, students learned that their bodies give them clues-called body sensations-that help them understand how they feel. By tuning into these physical signals, students strengthen their self-awareness and begin to recognize emotions as natural experiences, empowering them to respond with care and confidence.
