Letters to Myself Volume 1

This is the first book in a series dedicated to talking about the tough subjects with our younger generations of teens and young adults that need the support in a world that can be confusing and difficult to navigate. Jen Taylor, LCSW takes her 23+ years of experience as a New York-based spiritual psychotherapist specializing in womens' empowerment, domestic violence, teens, and LGBTQIA+ individuals to develop this series with the help of real life individuals willing to share their experiences to help others. She hopes this series provides hope and alternatives to our young people who are struggling with challenging issues such as suicide, self-harm, rape, sexual assault, eating disorders and the list continues on.

In this specific volume one of the series, Jen turns the focus to self-harm and suicide, two major challenging subjects in today's society. Suicide is the #2 cause of death in American adolescents and the urgency for this to be addressed is felt worldwide. Jen brings her expertise to the table with valuable resources and a collection of letters from those who have struggled in these areas and offer their stories in hopes to help others. It is Jen's prayer that this book provides hope and alternatives to our young people who are struggling with suicidal ideation and attempts.
